Socializing

I'm quite determined to socialize a bit more during and after this year's Spring Break. It seems that throughout the semester I've been doing my own stuff: writing online journal entries, reading Schumpeter, Hayek, Lukacs, etc. and the Scriptures. Even working out incessantly is a solitary activity. I don't think this is the right way of life. Peter Blood-Patterson, of Middletown Meeting, rightly observed that Jesus was a party-man of his day, and that he seldom missed any change of hanging out with people. One must first be "in the world" before one could become "not of the world."
