W. vs. Nixon
When I was little, I frequently heard stories about how communist leaders in China of an earlier generation used to mingle freely with the "masses" whenever they felt it's the right thing to do. Apparently Dick Nixon was also a man who's comfortable hanging out with protestors protesting his policies.
